Spotlight on Domain Five

One of the most important roles of an eSmart library is to develop links with the surrounding community. This is defined within Domain 5 – Community Connections. Campaspe Library Launches 'Risk by Fleur Ferris'

Campaspe Library was honored to host the launch of local writer Fleur Ferris' first book 'Risk' last month! Fleur used her background in policing and as a paramedic to pen her first novel focusing on online safety. This is an ideal read for young adults to encourage discussion around cybersafety. Our partnership with the Telstra Foundation

Launched in August 2012 by the former Prime Minister of Australia, the Hon. Julia Gillard MP, our $8 million, multi-year partnership with the Telstra Foundation is delivering eSmart Libraries in collaboration with Australia's library network over the next six years to all of Australia's 1,500 public libraries for free. eSmart Libraries is now in over 40% of public libraries across the country.
